Not sure why you should run the ODDyssey Half Marathon? As an alumn of this run myself, let me tell you. In previous years throughout the course they had a few stops where you could play a quick tailgating game. They had Cornhole, Can Jam and a few others. I can honestly say I have never run a Half Marathon that allowed me to throw a beanbag into cornhole set and will never forget that memory.

And what about the medal? Sure you could hang your medal along the rest of them. OR you can take the medal and hang it on your wall to open your beer bottle. Yes, you read that correctly, the medal is also a bottle opener that can be attached to your wall. (They even give you the screws for it, see below).
