Runner Spotlight: Promote Yourself!

Untitled

We’d like to introduce a new segment to this blog called the “Runner Spotlight”. This will be a blog post that spotlights runners in the local Philly community (tri state area). Think of this as a way to promote who you are to the running community around you. The goal of this blog has always been to help connect the Philly running community and we hope to continue that with this segment.

It’s pretty simple, we’ll ask you a series of questions and create a blog post that is all about you.

Meet some of the runners here!

A few questions you may have:

How do I qualify? Just e-mail us directly at runningphilly1@gmail.com and let us know you’re interested. It’s that easy! You don’t have to be a part of a specific group or have special circumstances. The only qualifier is that you are able to speak about your running experience, whether it is a few 5K’s you’ve run or the ultra marathons you run weekly.

How will it work? This will be a blog post all about YOU. We will e-mail you a series of questions, you respond and we create a post around those answers. It will start as a monthly segment but depending on the feedback we get we will do this a little more frequently.

What kind of info will you share? We won’t share anything you don’t freely share with us. We have a series of questions we will ask you. Don’t feel obligated to answer anything you don’t want to.

What do I get out of it? Promote yourself to the running community of Philadelphia! Your blog post will be viewed by anywhere from 500 – 1,500 visitors per month. We will also share this information with all major Philly Running/ Fitness personalities to promote yourself within the ever growing Philadelphia running community.

Most communication of this segment will be via Twitter, however we will share the blog posts across all social media platforms.
