In a shocking turn of events Runner’s World has made the decision to shut down their festival race according to the Facebook post below.

The post goes on to say that Runner’s World will be dedicating its resources to the St. Luke’s Via Marathon held locally in the Lehigh Valley.

For those, not familiar the Runner’s World Festival Runner’s World Half & Festival was a weekend of races that welcomed runners of all levels to a one-of-a-kind weekend that covers a full 26.2 miles over three days, from a 3.8-mile trail race to a half marathon.
