The Love Run Half Marathon is excited to introduce the Run Free Cure Cancer Charity Partnership. They have recently partnered with Legacy of Hope to bring this life changing program. Together, their goal is to raise $250,000 in 2019 to not only fight cancer but to cure our region of it for good!
Many people have been touched by cancer in some way and this is their opportunity to use what we all love (running) as a platform to raise funds and rid Philadelphia and the region of cancer.
The great news is you can be part of the Run Free Cure Cancer program AND race with your team too!
Here’s how you can run free at the Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon this year:
- Simply register now and select Legacy of Hope Run For Free, choose your distance, and follow the online registration process.
- Upon completion you will get a confirmation with a link to the LEGACY OF HOPE Crowdrise page.
- Go to the link, set up your page, and start fundraising!
Fortunately, you won’t be responsible for raising all $250,000 yourself. Each participant will be asked to raise a minimum of $200. Once you reach your goal, you will be refunded your ENTIRE ENTRY FEE (and processing fees)! Of course, you are more than welcome – and encouraged! – to raise more than the required minimum.
