You may have heard about the heartbreaking story recently where a young woman was sexually assaulted while running in Norristown Farm Park.
The folks at RUN610 and Norristown Running Club are teaming up to host a solidarity run and rally. As it says on their event description: “our running community stands in solidarity with this woman, we are raising our voice, we are showing up, and we are speaking out in order to #stoptheviolence”.
Runners, walkers, and community members are invited to join this event on Wednesday, August 16th at 6:30 PM. The group will gather at the Norristown Farm Park’s Whitehall lot for a three mile solidarity run and rally.
