Every year, for the past 17 years, the Ambler Area Running Club hosts The Fireside Frostbite 5-Miler. This is probably the best way to kick in the new year with a brisk 5 miles. Not only is it a great race, but after the run each runner will have a complimentary buffet line available to them! Race day is Saturday, February 18th.

The proceeds of this race benefit three great charities: Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association, Dan’s Voice, and Aid For Friends.

The race is held regardless of rain, sleet, snow or hail unless the safety of runners is in jeopardy.  As a 3 time runner of this race, you can believe us when they say it more than likely will not be canceled due to weather. 

Registration will be absolutely limited to 1500 runners to prevent overcrowding in the HS and should sell out early!
