Drexel Endurance Sports Symposium – March 12


Are you a runner, cyclist, swimmer (or maybe all 3!)looking to improve your fitness level? Would you like to know more about things such as proper running techniques, how to effectively taper or improving lung performance? If so, you may want to join The Drexel University Triathlon Team for their first ever Drexel Endurance Sports Symposium.

Date:  Saturday March 12th 
Location: Gerri C. Lebow Hall, Room 061 (Basement)
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: $25 for General Public, $10 For Drexel Affiliates

This event will be packed full of information for all kinds of competitors. From your everyday age group athlete to the professionals and everyone in between.  A broad range of topics will be covered that appeal to endurance sport athletes and coaches alike.

  • Determinants of running performance
  • Strength training
  • Fats vs Carbs for performance
  • Energy deficiencies in athletes
  • Importance of lung function
