That’s right new for 2016, CGI Racing introduces the Love Run Relay. Grab two of your running buddies for the three-person relay team!
FINALLY!!! After tons of requests and three years of working with the city, they’ve worked out details to include a relay option at this year’s Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon. So, for those of you who want to experience the Half Marathon fun…but don’t necessarily want to run 13.1 miles…this relay is for you!
Now you too, can be part of the epic kickoff to Spring at the Love Run Philly half marathon weekend!
Each leg will be between three and five miles with one chip exchange right at Eakin’s Oval (convenient!) and the other will be at Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Shuttles will be provided to take runners to and from the on course chip exchange.
Each team member gets the super swag that all the runners receive including premium tech shirt, custom race BIB, cool commemorative coffee cup and, of course, a fantastic finish medal.
Awards will be given to the fastest men’s, women’s and co-ed teams (1st, 2nd and 3rd).
