Were you one of those that did not get selected for the Broad Street Run? Still have an urge to run an organized 10 miles in May? Two organizations have taken care of that by offering 10 mile races of their own in May to help satisfy your appetite.
Race: King of Prussia 10 Miler
Race Date: Sunday, May 17th
Race Location: King Of Prussia, PA
Details: The King of Prussia 10 Miler is a 10 mile USATF certified and sanctioned road race through scenic King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The course takes you through green suburban neighborhoods. We also have a 5K Run and a 5K Walk and we even have a Kids Fun Run for 12 and under.
Race: Bucks County Ten Miler
Race Date: Sunday, May 3rd
Race Location: Washington Crossing Historic Park, Washington Crossing, PA
Details: The course is out-and back along the historic Delaware Canal State Park towpath trail from Washington Crossing Historic Park north through New Hope, Pennsylvania, turning around the Virginia Forrest area, returning to Washington Crossing Historic Park.
Race: Run The Vineyards Ten Miler
Race Date: Sunday, May 3rd
Race Location: South Harrison, NJ
Details: This run is a “Low Frills” event and is limited to about 75 runners. We will assist with timing the runners, and all runners will be given a course map and follow course markings. There will be 2 Water Stations on the beautiful route. Area roads experience very low traffic volume, but will not be closed to vehicles. Runners are required to follow normal pedestrian and traffic laws.
If you missed out on the lottery, but still want to run Broad Street, you can always sign up via charity.
