Running for a Good Cause!

Some great runs are coming to Philadelphia that support great causes. Check them out below!

11/2- Free to Breathe 5K. Free to Breathe is a partnership of lung cancer survivors, advocates, researchers, healthcare professionals and industry leaders aiming to increase the lung cancer survival rate.

Race Location: Fairmount Park

11/8- Autism Cares 5K & 10K– Autism Cares Foundation was founded in 2007 by the parents of a child with autism and other professionals to offer life-enriching experiences for the autism spectrum community in a safe and welcoming environment.

Race Location: Tyler State Park Newtown, PA

11/9- Lemon Run 5K. This run supports the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in their quest to find better treatments and cures for all kids with cancer.

Race Location: Fairmount Park

12/7- Girls On The Run 5K– Girls on the run is a development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade that teaches life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games.

Race Location: Philadelphia Zoo

And as always check out the Back On My Feet organization that uses running to support and empower the homeless as well as Philadelphia Runner who will always accept shoe donations.

It’s not just important to keep your body fit, you should keep your mind and heart strong as well.
